Keep track over time

On long-term treatment? Keep track between check-ups

Hea remembers the medicines you take, keeps your results beside earlier ones, and when something new starts, takes your history and quotes what the product label says.

Cholesterol medicine, thyroid tablets, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), weight-loss injections: the tests and side effects to watch are easy to lose between appointments. When was that blood test? Did the tiredness start before or after the change?

How Hea helps

Your medicines, remembered Today

Tell Hea what you take and since when. It keeps your medicines, conditions and allergies on one card, in your own words, between chats. You confirm, correct or remove each line.

Results beside earlier ones Today

Share a lab report and Hea shows what the lab printed, the lab's range and earlier results of the same test. It asks about medicines that can change a reading, such as a recent change of thyroid tablets before a thyroid test.

Something new? A note and the label Today

Hea checks urgent signs first, takes your history and writes a note for your GP. It quotes what the US FDA product label of your medicine mentions about that symptom. A label listing a symptom doesn't mean your medicine caused it.

Reminders and home blood tests Soon

An email when a test is due, and blood tests you can do at home.

Questions people ask

What blood tests do I need on cholesterol medicine?

NICE asks for a cholesterol test (a full lipid profile) and a liver blood test 2 to 3 months after starting or changing treatment, and a liver test again at 12 months. After that NICE asks for a medication review once a year. A yearly cholesterol test is offered to people who already have heart or circulation disease, and considered for others.

Should I report muscle pain on cholesterol medicine?

Yes. NICE asks doctors to tell people on this treatment to seek medical advice if they get unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness. The doctor may then check a blood test called creatine kinase.

How often should my thyroid be checked on thyroid tablets?

For adults taking thyroid tablets for an underactive thyroid, NICE suggests a TSH blood test every 3 months until the level is stable, and then once a year. Stable means 2 similar results within the reference range, 3 months apart.

How often should hormone replacement therapy (HRT) be reviewed?

NICE asks for each treatment for menopause symptoms to be reviewed at 3 months, then once a year. A review can come sooner if there's a reason, such as side effects or the treatment not working.

Can Hea tell me if a side effect is from my medicine?

No. Hea checks urgent signs first, takes your history and quotes what the US FDA product label of your medicine mentions about your symptom. A label lists many possible reactions, and a symptom being listed doesn't mean your medicine caused it. Your GP or pharmacist decides.

Will Hea remind me when a test is due?

Not yet: email reminders are coming soon. Today Hea keeps your saved results with their dates, so you can see when a test was last done, and it can put your next Hea check-up in your calendar.
