Terms of use
Hea MCP closed beta · last updated 14 October 2026
In short
- What it is: Hea MCP helps you put your health information in order for your GP, inside the assistant you use (Claude or ChatGPT).
- What it is not: a doctor, a medical service or medical advice. In an emergency call 999; when it is urgent but not an emergency, call NHS 111.
- Who it is for: adults (18+) living in the UK. It is free during the beta.
- Your information stays yours: how we use it is in the privacy notice, and you can delete it at any time.
- The beta is offered as it is: it may change, make mistakes or stop.
Who we are
Hea Europe Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 15400266, registered office Snowdrop Court, 21 Royal Engineers Way, London NW7 1TU. Email: hello@tryhea.com.
These terms are between you and us. By using Hea MCP (mcp.tryhea.com and its connector at connect.tryhea.com) you accept them; if you do not, please do not use it.
What Hea MCP is
Hea MCP works inside an assistant you already use. It asks you questions on cards, keeps your answers, check-ups, lab results, symptom notes and mole photos, and turns them into plans and a note for your GP. When you ask, it hands your assistant what it has collected, so that the assistant can give you its own reading of it; Hea checks only that each sentence of that reading names the line it rests on.
What Hea MCP is not
- It is not a doctor, a medical service or a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prescribe.
- Nothing in Hea, or in a reading your assistant gives, is medical advice. Using Hea creates no doctor–patient relationship.
- Hea can be wrong or incomplete, and it may miss something important.
- Nobody at Hea watches your answers: no one is alerted when you report something serious.
- Talk to your GP, a pharmacist or NHS 111 about your health, and do not delay or ignore medical advice because of something Hea or your assistant said.
Emergencies
Hea MCP is not for emergencies. If you or someone else may be in danger, call 999. When it is urgent but not an emergency, call NHS 111 or go to 111.nhs.uk. If you are thinking about harming yourself, call 999 or Samaritans on 116 123.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or over and live in the UK. We may limit who can join the beta. You may use Hea about another adult or a child only if you are allowed to share their information (they agreed, or you are the child's parent or carer), and you are responsible for that.
Your account
You sign in with a code we send to your email, so anyone who can read your email can sign in: keep it secure. Give true information, and tell us at hello@tryhea.com if you think someone else used your account.
What you must not do
- Try to break, overload or get around Hea's security, or reach information that is not yours.
- Send Hea requests with automated tools other than your assistant, or copy Hea's questions and texts in bulk.
- Resell Hea or use it to build a competing service.
- Break the law or use Hea to harm anyone.
Your information
What you tell Hea is yours. We use it only as the privacy notice says, and you can delete it at any time in your account. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely, without your health information.
Your assistant and other services
Claude is a product of Anthropic and ChatGPT of OpenAI: separate services under their own terms, and Hea is not affiliated with either. What your assistant writes in your chat is its own. Hea shows on its cards only what passed Hea's checks, and those checks look at what each sentence rests on, not at the medical reasoning. The NHS, NICE, PubMed and other sources Hea quotes or links to belong to their owners, and we are not responsible for them.
The beta
Hea MCP is free during the beta and offered as it is. We may change it, pause it or end it; when the beta ends, your data stays until you delete it, as the privacy notice says; if we close Hea, we tell you first and then delete it. We work to keep Hea running and your data safe, but we cannot promise that it will always be available, free of errors or right for your purpose.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
Otherwise, because Hea MCP is free and gives information only, we are not responsible for decisions about your health that you make on the strength of Hea or of what your assistant says, for losses we could not reasonably foresee, for business losses, or for losses caused by your assistant, your devices, other services or events outside our control. Our total liability to you for anything else is limited to £100.
Ending
You can stop at any time and delete your data in your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if safety or security requires it, or if we close Hea; where we can, we tell you first.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when Hea or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. For a change that matters, we tell you before it applies (by email or when you next sign in). If you do not agree, you can stop using Hea and delete your data.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts there. If something goes wrong, please write to us first: we will try to put it right.
